DESCRIPTION:Join us for Community SING Saturday November 10th at For Goodness Sake in Truckee. \n\n\n\nCircle Singing is a way to connect with others and be inspired by filling yourself with the light of beautiful music. Throughout the ages circle singing was practiced by everyday people. Brought back to light through the founding members of Bobby McFerrin's Voicestra\, including Rhiannon and Rachel Bagby. Through this craft of spontaneous music\, each member of the circle stands beside others who are in the same vocal range. The conductor stands in the middle of the circle and improvises music\, one part at time\, delivering parts to each vocal range. She strives for something they can hear and repeat easily.\n\n\n\nThis is co-creation that is lightly guided. This means people without knowledge of musical theory and training can participate.
