Be prepared for our Tahoe winter nights. Don't forget your headlamps\, layered clothing\, waterproof shoes\, and mittens.\n\nFor those new to snowshoeing\, there will be a beginner's clinic at 6:30 pm. The Full Moon hike starts promptly at 7:00 pm near the restrooms on the Day Use side of the park (lakeside entrance\, east side of Highway 89).\n\nThe program lasts approximately 1 hours and costs $45 per person for adults. Children 12 and under are $25. It is a moderate hike with uneven snow surfaces. This program is a great introduction to the sport and hobby of snowshoeing with special nighttime access to the park. This cost includes snowshoe rentals\, park entrance\, guided hike\, and guaranteed fun!\n\nThis event is a partnership between the Sierra State Parks Foundation and the California State Parks\, and all proceeds from the tour benefit the Sierra State Parks Foundation's educational programming.\n\nAll ticket sales are final.
