The October Good Morning Truckee features two dynamic speakers on separate topics.

\nLucy Blake is President of the Northern Sierra Partnership (NSP)\, conservation leader\, sustainability advocate\, and rancher. Blake describes her work as &ldquo\;wrangling&rdquo\; her collaborators to protect the Northern Sierra from Mount \;Lassen \;to Lake Tahoe. As founder and former president of the Sierra Business Council\, Blake has years of experience bringing together groups who are staunch believers in the importance of conservation as a driver of economic health and quality of life in the most holistic sense. A results-oriented business woman at heart\, Blake is a testament to what can be accomplished when you have a big idea\, a lot of grit\, and it never occurs to you to take no for an answer.

\nSchool&rsquo\;s back in session and Superintendent Chief Learning Officer Rob Leri says &ldquo\;As we build upon our &ldquo\;Best Ever&rdquo\; year\, our theme for the new school year is &ldquo\;Celebrating What&rsquo\;s Right in this World and Tahoe Truckee. You can also purchase multi-packs of tickets for your convenience &ndash\; which can also get you checked-in quicker. And\, as always\, you can still purchase your ticket at the door with cash\, credit card or check.

\nGood Morning Truckee is open to the public &ndash\; everyone is invited. It is held the second Tuesday of every month at Truckee Tahoe Airport from 7:00-8:30 AM. Ticket price for general public is $12\; Truckee Chamber members $10 and includes a continental breakfast and raffle ticket.
