DESCRIPTION:Good Morning Truckee welcomes two very interesting and different topics for the July 11th gathering:\n\n \n\nFor over a decade\, area art patrons worked diligently to bring a high-quality\, modern performing and visual arts venue to the Tahoe-Truckee area. The Stages at Northstar is generating unprecedented excitement and attention as the ideal setting for a long-needed performing and visual arts center. Tahoe Regional Arts Foundation has made significant progress toward this vision. Keith Vogt\, Chairman of the Board of Tahoe Regional Arts will provide details about this new community asset.\n\n \n\nWe will also hear from Tony Lashbrook\, Town Manager. Tony is retiring after 36 years in public service. He arrived at the Town of Truckee shortly after incorporation and served as the Community Development Director for 11 years. He then moved into the top leadership spot of Town Manager and has been guiding Truckee toward excellence for the past 12 years in that role. His vision\, collaboration\, open and honest communication style and exemplary leadership skills earned him the Truckee Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Government award last October at the Chamber's Annual Awards Dinner. As Tony winds down to his final few days\, hear his insight into Truckee's past\, present and future.\n\n\n\nGood Morning Truckee is a community forum to provide timely and relevant information on a variety of topics and create a networking opportunity.\n\n\n\nGood Morning Truckee offers ONLINE PRE-REGISTRATION at Truckee.com. Breeze through the check-in line to get breakfast and a seat faster.
