SUMMARY:Guitar Strings vs. Chicken Wings
DESCRIPTION:Piranga finishes with their 5th year of Guitar Strings vs. Chicken Wings. Restaurants and bands go head-to-head in The Village at Squaw Valley to vie for best wing and best band supremacy. Each restaurant in the Village at Squaw Valley develops signature recipes for distinctive\, flavor-packed chicken wings\, while joining forces with the region's best bands makes things even more interesting - and entertaining! \n\n\n\nFor a nominal donation to Tahoe Institute of Natural Sciences (TINS)\, participants each receive 10 wooden coins with which they can cast their votes for their favorite wing\, their top band\, or spread them around however they wish. The donation also gains access to discounted wings and drinks specials at the restaurants in the Village and entry into a raffle for cruiser bikes courtesy of Factory Bike and other prizes. TINS will also have a bar and swag items for sale during the event\, and additional votes can be purchased at the registration booth.\n\n\n\n\n\nWill the Auld Dubliner be able to maintain their winning ways? Will a new band rock so hard that their host restaurant runs out of wings? After dominating the band competition the first two years\, will they ever let Kandy Xander compete again?  With TINS joining the wing competition this year\, will the voting process be rigged?
