DESCRIPTION:Chaun Owens-Mortier of the Truckee-Donner Historical Society will highlight the "Jezebels\," "Soiled Doves\," and "Fallen Women" that lived and worked on Truckee's backstreets. A member of the TDHS since 2008\, Chaun is currently its Secretary-Treasurer and Archivist/Recorder for the Truckee Cemetery District. \n\n\n\nHer presentation gives the overall history of Truckee's Red Light District and the women who lived and worked there. Come and hear\, in a non-judgmental way\, the story of the lifestyle and the role the ladies played in the building of the West.  Light refreshments will be offered.
