DESCRIPTION:Begun in India centuries ago\, Kirtan is simply singing and meditation. With harmonium accompaniment we will chant together in English several spiritualized songs brought to this country nearly 100 years ago by Paramahansa Yogananda.\n\n\n\nAfter a period of chanting with deeper and deeper attention and devotion\, we will then sit in meditation\, absorbing and internalizing the affirmation inherent in the chant.
