DESCRIPTION:The September exhibit at Piper J Gallery is featuring 2 award winning and very accomplished local female artists. \n\n \n\n Nancy Takaichi's plein air oil paintings. Nancy likes painting "stuff" as she calls it. She likes to include boats\, cabins\, trucks\, airstreams\, ski lifts in her paintings to depict life in Tahoe. Nancy has a home in Tahoma and loves to paint at Obexers Marina and Chamber's landing. \n\n \n\nThe other artists featured in the September exhibit is Mary Nagel Klein of Incline Village. Mary brings a refreshing palette of balloons\, marbles\, animals and florals to her joyful still life's. Though her subjects might be quirky and playful her works are definitely a very high caliber of fine art. \n\n \n\nLearn more about the paintings and processes at the opening reception. The exhibit opens on September 2nd and everyone is invited to sip\, shop and meet the artists on Friday 9/2 from 5-7pm.
