DESCRIPTION:The community is invited to attend a Memorial Day Service at Truckee Cemetery at 10:00 to honor those who gave their lives in serving our country. There will be flags at each veterans' grave and a rose will be handed to each attendee.\n\n\n\nThe event is hosted by Truckee Cemetery District Chairman Greg VanLoon\, and the service will include speakers Rev. Jeanie Shaw and Nevada County District Supervisor Hardy Bullock. \n\n\n\nThe wonderful local Mountain Belles a capella group will provide entertainment\, and refreshments will be served. \n\n\n\nDon't forget to bring a chair if you'd like one.
