Scrutinize Eurasia's ongoing pivotal transformation of global culture\, including such themes as the Mongol Empire\, the "Korean Wave" (Hallyu)\, and the BRI (Belt Road Initiative).\n\n\n\nShapiro is an Associate Professor in History at the University of Nevada\, Reno. His specialties include East Asian history\, China and the history of medicine. He holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University.\n\nDoors open at 6:30 p.m. for complimentary refreshments\, and the session takes place from 7 to 8:15 p.m.
