SUMMARY:Treeline - A Film by Patagonia
DESCRIPTION:Join Mountain Area Preservation (MAP) and Tahoe Mountain Sports for Treeline\, a new Patagonia film celebrating the forests on which humans have always depended. Follow a group of snow-seekers\, scientists and healers as they explore the birch forests of Japan\, the red cedars of British Columbia and the bristlecones of Nevada. This event is a benefit for MAP's Save Tahoe campaign\, challenging the Martis Valley West development.\n\nMartis Valley West is proposed in a high severity fire danger zone on Brockway Summit\, which would replace pristine forest with 760 luxury units\, including 75-foot tall condos on the ridgeline that would be visible from Lake Tahoe and the Tahoe Rim Trail. Visit www.ProtectOurMountains.org to learn more about this project.\n\nIn addition to the Truckee premier of Treeline\, Tahoe Mountain Sports and ORTOVOX will be hosting a raffle and you'll learn more about MAP's Save Tahoe Campaign.\n\nWe hope to see you there! Click here to RSVP and share on Facebook.\n\nThanks to our event sponsors Tahoe Mountain Sports\, Alibi Ale Works Truckee Public House\, Patagonia and ORTOVOX.
