SUMMARY:Truckee Library Grand Re-Opening Children's Events
DESCRIPTION:Join the Truckee Library for their grand re-opening on November 7\, from 4:00 p.m.   6:00 p.m. The library has been undergoing a refresh since the end of July and now features new flooring\, paint\, and furniture. The festivities will kick off with a ribbon cutting with the Truckee Chamber of Commerce and Truckee Town Councilmembers. In addition to partaking in light refreshments provided by the Friends of the Truckee Library\, the public is invited to see their new space as well as the restored stained glass that previously was hung in the west-facing window. The stained glass is now hung in a light box above the library's mantle.\n\n\n\nGrand re-opening celebrations will continue with children's activities on November 8th and 9th.\n\n\n\nOn November 8th\, the Truckee Library is pleased to have two local authors join them for a preschool storytime at 11:00 a.m. Megan Jost and Megan Butcher will read from their book\, Ski Patrol Pups. At 4:00 p.m. they will offer a puppet show performed by Puppet Art Sacramento\, and at 5:00 p.m. they will welcome back RUFF Reading and craft activities.\n\n\n\nOn November 9th at 10:30 a.m.\, the library is pleased to bring back Justin Eubanks for preschool music time and at 4:00 p.m. they will offer face painting and crafts.
