Beacons, Beers & Airbags

Join Tahoe Mountain Sports for the second event in our Avalanche Education Series, Beacons, Beers, & Airbags. We are stoked to be back for in-person events at one of our favorite venues, Alibi Truckee.
 

Have a beer with us while learning from industry pros on how beacons work, get an intro to shovels and probes and learn the physics of airbags and their role in your quiver. You'll also hear from our brand sponsors on specific products and get the chance to break into small groups to work with some of these yourself.
 

If you have an airbag, BRING IT! You'll have the chance to pull it for a test run. Mammut, BCA, and Ortovox canisters will be re-filled onsite for free!
 

The entire event will be outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Bring extra layers to keep in the car if you need them. We are talking puffy jackets, beanies, gloves, a blanket, anything to keep you warm through the duration and make it to our amazing raffle! We have thousands of dollars in prizes, like...thousand dollar a piece prizes, you won't want to miss this raffle, trust us! All proceeds from the raffle benefit Tahoe Backcountry Alliance.
