Big Boy - Union Pacific Heritage Steam Locomotive Visit

Union Pacific's heritage "Big Boy" steam locomotive will make a 30-minute stop in Truckee on its 2024 western tour. The Truckee Donner Railroad Society and Truckee-Donner Historical Society will have informational displays, tents, and speakers next to the Railroad Museum (caboose), and a historical model railroad of 1927 Truckee will be displayed inside the Engel & Völkers office (Flying A service station). The Railroad Museum and Museum of Truckee History will also be open during the event.
