Festive Fridays

Shops stay open later the first three Fridays in December. Free Parking after 4:00 PM - compliments of the Truckee Downtown Merchants Association, Town of Truckee, and the Truckee Chamber of Commerce.

Stroll around beautifully lit downtown, take advantage of special promotions, stay for dinner and even catch a presentation from local students. Sierra Expeditionary Learning School's 2nd and 3rd grade students will be leading historical tours in downtown during Festive Fridays from 4:30 - 5:00 pm on December 2nd and December 9th. Come out and enjoy an evening in downtown while learning about the rich history of Truckee. Tours will begin on the corner of Donner Pass Road and Bridge Street on the east side of Bar of America and leave every 10 minutes.
