Layered Lines

Artist Diana Fayt will lead you through combining the intricacies of drawing and the richness of painting to create small scale artworks that are vibrant with color and depth. With the use of oil pastels, charcoal, graphite pencils and gauche you'll will create painterly drawings on paper and you will learn how to use these mediums in new non traditional ways. This class is for any skill level and for the drawing challenged, tricks for how to transfer images that look like drawings without knowing how to draw, will be given. The emphasis in this class will be on enjoying and exploring the process and materials you are working with as well as image making. Prepare to get your hands dirty.
