Mixed Media Screen Printing with Your Own Photographs

Learn all the basics of screen printing from how to create and cut out a stencil to pulling a successful print while also incorporating a screen printed photograph of your choosing! You will learn how to layer and register your stencils to create multi-color prints and create a small edition of prints from your own unique images!

Artist Hilary Williams will teach you the ropes and be by your side to answer all questions and concerns you have about the whole process from set up to clean up. All materials are provided. This class requires each student to send in a photograph of their choosing at least three days ahead of class date. This image will be altered by Hilary and brought to class on a screen ready for you to create a multicolored screen print with the photograph. High contrast and clear images will translate the best to the screen printing medium.
