Truckee Winter Carnival 2025

The Truckee Winter Carnival first started in 1895 and is being presented locally to provide free, family fun.

Events include an Old Timer themed group photo, silent motion picture, Rail Jam competition, Historic Presentations, Hot Doggin’ After Party, Snow building and Ice carving demonstrations, Skijoring (yes, skiing behind horses).Sled dog demonstrations, Snowboarding tricks and obstacles with Olympian Andy Finch.

This event is presented by the Museum of Truckee History and Truckee-Donner Recreation and Park District.
