33rd Annual Kids Fishing Derby
The annual Kids Fishing Derby. This event is free to all children 12 and under. It will be held at the Cold Stream Pond behind Donner State Memorial Park. Come on down and teach your kids to fish like a real fisherman. Where 5'' becomes 18''. Where one fish becomes 20. Don't know how to fish yourself? Ah no problem ''experts'' will be on hand to help out. Food and soft drinks will be available, should you not catch a fish. No boats allowed please.
BIG LIFE Connections: Reception & Sierra Speaker Series
Please join us along with the Sierra State Parks Foundation for our March BIG LIFE Connections event! We'll meet at Donner Memorial State Park outside of the Visitor Center for a guided snowshoe tour that will include history and some historical landmarks of the Donner Party, who were stranded at Donner Lake in 1846.

June is bike month! Join the TRPA & Tahoe Bike Coalition Challenge and Bike to Work on June 20th. The Town will be hosting a booth at the Truckee Train Depot from 7:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. on the 20th, providing light refreshments to participants.
