About Us

Mountain Home Center in Truckee California is the premier, award-winning specialty retailer of fireplaces, stoves, spas and sauna, patio furniture, and other products for the home including firepits, patio heaters, bbqs, home décor, and saunas. We have contractor licenses in both California and Nevada, and deliver, install and service the products we sell. Our geographic market runs from the foothills to Carson City, and from Portola to South Lake Tahoe. We have been in business since the 1980s and currently have two store fronts, our main store with 9000 sf of displays and our downtown Truckee location which features home décor, gift and seasonal accessories. Our main location on Brockway Rd is often featured by manufacturers as the model of a exemplary showroom.
