About Us

Truckee Downtown Merchants Association’s (TDMA) vision is to create, support and sustain a vibrant and visible downtown through solid membership, community collaboration and unique events; ensuring a vital, art-filled and welcoming authentic Historic Downtown Truckee for residents. TDMA is a non-profit, 501c6.

TDMA's benefits of membership extend far beyond the borders of Historic Downtown Truckee. Membership with the TDMA helps build a better Truckee for everyone - locals and tourists alike. Our organization, along with the Truckee Town Council, recognizes downtown as the “heart and soul” of Truckee. Together, we work hard to promote and preserve downtown. We believe that a thriving downtown is vital to an overall healthy economy in Truckee. Our goals are to:

• Create a beautiful and vibrant downtown that sustains business and the community.
• Enhance the community's perception of downtown.
• Increase annual revenue by 10%

Truckee Downtown Merchants Association (TDMA) works closely in partnership with the Town of Truckee, the Truckee Chamber of Commerce and many other supporting organizations who help make our historic downtown a beautiful area to enjoy.

In Historic Downtown, there are many exciting and popular events perfect for walking.From Christmas tree lightings to our famous summer ''Truckee Thursdays'' Street Fair and Artisan Marketplace and our fall Art & Soul ArtWalk, attracting locals and visitors from across the country.
