T'anu ?Iš?mi? "The People Singing" Washoe Warrior Society Benefit

This August 1st, Washoe Warrior Society, in collaboration with Mountain Lotus and Waší·šiw Land Trust, is hosting T'anu ʔIšɨmiʔ (The People Singing), a free community music festival fundraiser at the Salty Gebhardt Amphitheater at Truckee River Regional Park.

Join us in centering Washoe leadership, traditional ecological knowledge, and regenerative land stewardship. This event supports the LandBack movement for the Washoe people, the original stewards of the Tahoe Basin. We're expecting 1,000 attendees for a day of music, dialogue, and community. Performers include Xiuhtezcatl, One Way Sky, Bobby Sanchez, “Revolutionary Love is the Call of Our Times” by Valarie Kaur with music by Sonny Singh, False Rhythms, Chef Crystal Wahpepah, and Washoe Singers, among others.
